A housekeeping note:  Is anyone else (besides HBL) getting some weird garbledeegoop code showing up here in my posts?  I don’t see it on my PC but it’s showing up on his.  If so, what do I do about it??   Mystery solved.  It shows up in I.E. but not Firefox.  Now I guess I’ll have to check it each time in both.  grrrrr…..

Yankee Chick had this cool Meme going on and I just had to take the challenge.  I asked for the letter “A” so I could start everything with….”A blah blah…” but she gave me “R” instead.  My first response was to shake my head vigorously and say I can’t do ten things that start with R. Then I decided I’d at least give it a try and I was pleasantly surprised to know I loved more “R” things than I ever could have imagined.   RRRRRRRRRRRRrrrrrrrrrr……….

If you’d like to take this challenge, leave a dollar on the table and you can buy a letter, but don’t be askin for an “A” because if I can’t have it, neither can you.  Now here’s how this works.

You leave a comment on this post and tell me you want to play, and I’ll assign you a letter. You write about ten things you love that begin with your assigned letter, and post it at your place. When people comment on your list, you give them a letter, and the chain continues on and on.  Got it?   O.k. then, lets get to it.

 

1.   Rain – I love it when it rains, especially when I have no place to be and can stay in bed and listen to the thunder and be consoled by the beautiful sound of rain.

2.   Ruidoso, NM – My favorite place in the world.

 

3.   Romance – It’s as essential as air.

4.   Rivers – I grew up playing on the river so it feels so safe.  I love the thought that a river never ends.  It just takes on a new life on down the way.

5.   Reading – I love to read.  I read anything and everything and I’m convinced that’s why I’m so forgetful.   My brain is filled to the brim and so now when I put something new in, something old has to be deleted.  Really.

6.   Rodeos – I’m a cowgirl at heart and have been since I was very young.  Want to see my boots?? I love watching the sport of Rodeo and believe it’s overlooked as the great sport that it is.

7.   Red Hair – I spent so many years hating my red hair then after I finally embraced it, I wish I hadn’t wasted all those years because now I love it. *and now it’s turning grey.  Go figure. *

8.   Recipes – I love to read recipes and dream of whipping them up and astounding my family.  My dreams hardly ever come true but maybe someday.

9.   Reconciliations – We’ve all got those relationships that need reconciled.  It’s such a great thing when it finally happens.

10. Ranch Dressing – I eat it on everything from pizza to pickles.  *Yankee Chick should have given me the letter “P”*  LOL
